Following years of planning, discussion and legal negotiation with local residents, the inaugural hosting of London’s newest festival finally got the go ahead in 2014.

Having never previously hosted this type of event before and with no headline acts yet confirmed the challenge facing it’s creator and founding father Tom Wates was a unique one.

A brand new event with no as yet defined identity, the festival’s mid-september scheduling became it’s own inspiration, the campaign brief put simply to capture the late summer essence of what it is to be in this well loved space.

The images have since been used as the core material for a major advertising campaign and on-site large format branding display.

Massive attack and Grace Jones were amongst the stand out performers, the event sponsored by John Lewis.
